OCIA

  • Have you ever thought about joining the Catholic Church?
  • Are you a baptized Catholic who has never celebrated First Eucharist or Confirmation?
  • Is your spouse Catholic and perhaps you would like to share in his or her faith experience?

If this describes you, we warmly invite you to join this special program, where you will meet other people like yourself in an informal, no-pressure atmosphere.
Each year, during the Easter Vigil, thousands of men and women in the United States are received into the Catholic Church. These new members are welcomed, by Church parishes, through a program called the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA). The OCIA program offers the opportunity to have your questions answered, and if you choose, to receive preparation for receiving the Sacraments in full communion with the Catholic Church.
